Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gervasio Osmundo started the match with the kick off. Son Downs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xosé Paz, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Félix Quezada kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Son Downs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Arellano in the 15th minute of the match. Gervasio Osmundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Abner Dohrmann made a huge save. In the 20th match minute, Saturno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Maore to maneuver through the defense. Saturno's Son Downs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marín Mason in the 29th minute of play. Antonio Chabier hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Son Downs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Antonio Vives, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Son Downs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Antonio Vives in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Saturno defense, Xosé Paz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Son Downs. The Saturno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Son Downs should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Erik Vera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the game, Saturno's Severiano Guib nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abner Dohrmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Filomeno Odol put in a rough tackle. In the 48th minute, Filomeno Odol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marín Mason to strike the kick off in the second half. Son Downs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marín Mason in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute Gervasio Osmundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abner Dohrmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Guib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Abner Dohrmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Osmundo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Xosé Paz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Saturno's Uriel Llin got a free kick in the 64th minute. A collision led to Torreoncito getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Félix Quezada hit a great ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Gervasio Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saturno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Osmundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Guerola hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xosé Paz in the 82nd minute of play forced Saturno's goalkeeper Son Downs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torreoncito's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
