Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Óscar Sabrosa took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute Anton Păun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horaţiu Dinulescu in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Júlio Pais, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Red Proud FC's Lázaro Falcão got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Denis Brânzaș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Păun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Pais having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Phoenix Strikers got a freekick which was hit by Anton Păun. In the 24th minute Lázaro Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Spirea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Proud FC's Júlio Pais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Red Proud FC from getting a goal against them. Juvenal Assis, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 31 played minutes Phoenix Strikers got a freekick which was hit by Denis Brânzaș. Óscar Sabrosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isac Spirea having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Păun in the 46th minute of play forced Red Proud FC's goalkeeper Júlio Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 played minutes Phoenix Strikers got a freekick which was hit by David Mocanu.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horaţiu Dinulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Horaţiu Dinulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Júlio Pais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Phoenix Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Brânzaș to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Óscar Sabrosa came free, but Isac Spirea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Strikers's Cazimir Ceaușu got a free kick in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flávio Vasconcelos got free with Isac Spirea in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Júlio Pais came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Strikers's Anton Păun. But to his dismay, Anton Păun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 75 minutes into the game, one of Phoenix Strikers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Strikers's David Mocanu got a free kick in the 79th minute. Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Óscar Sabrosa 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. After having played for 83 minutes, Horaţiu Dinulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix Strikers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horaţiu Dinulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Păun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Horaţiu Dinulescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Pais was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. With a little luck, Phoenix Strikers's Isac Spirea got control of the ball when Lázaro Falcão tried to sneak it across the goal line.
