After having played for 34 minutes, Melquiades Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavaliers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Jakue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Cavaliers FC's Manuel Bernad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abner Dohrmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Isidoro Ranolfo replaced Manuel Bernad. 47 minutes into the match, Isidoro Ranolfo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Torreoncito's Abner Dohrmann. Abner Dohrmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marín Mason stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 69 minutes of play, Cavaliers FC's Blas Jenaro made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abner Dohrmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cavaliers FC's Alejandro Leoiar was substituted for Serafin Charro. The crowd rose to their feet as Cavaliers FC's Isidoro Ranolfo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abner Dohrmann. That made the score 0-9 after 79 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Isidoro Ranolfo took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Abner Dohrmann to make any attempt to save it. After 87 minutes of play Torreoncito's Gilberto Faure was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gilberto Faure hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute of the match Blas Jenaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abner Dohrmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bas Ovando got free with Abner Dohrmann in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
