Nistor Curcă kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Rigoberto Sabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavaliers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Sabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Manuel Bernad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Isac Spirea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the game, Cavaliers FC's Manuel Bernad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isac Spirea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Melquiades Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horaţiu Dinulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serafin Charro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Isac Spirea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bas Ovando was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Cavaliers FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bas Ovandos short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Isac Spirea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 62 played minutes Bas Ovando rounded Phoenix Strikers's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. When Cavaliers FC's Bas Ovando in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bas Ovando who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Isac Spirea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Ranolfo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isac Spirea saved Phoenix Strikers from getting behind. Isac Spirea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bas Ovando's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Cavaliers FC's Isidoro Ranolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidoro Ranolfo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Isac Spirea 89 minutes into the match. When the match was over Cavaliers FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Phoenix Strikers throughout the match.
