Pacho Mondejar might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dániel Sallói. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pacho Mondejar ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pacho Mondejar got free with Dániel Sallói in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Salud y República getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Berto Calatayud hit a great ball. Pacho Mondejar struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Dániel Sallói didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salud y República. The supporters of PMFC 2018 booed when Salud y República was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berto Calatayud didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Vencel Káposztás sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Carlos Suciu skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Gervaso was the one to do the kick off. Jago Barrientos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Gervaso in the 78th minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pacho Mondejar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dániel Sallói having to make a save. PMFC 2018's Dániel Sallói played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pacho Mondejar in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Pacho Mondejar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salud y República's supporters rose to their feet, but Pacho Mondejar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dániel Sallói breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salud y República's Berto Calatayud got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute.
