Flávio Fontes's late challenge caught a Red Proud FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A collision led to FC Stadtclub getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Elia Vonrotz hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Yannick Walpert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Júlio Pais. The goal made the score 1-0. Carlos Dufresne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Júlio Pais skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Red Proud FC's Júlio Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Dufresne in the 12th minute of play. FC Stadtclub's Alkestis Stasinopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Falcão in the 14th minute of play. Lázaro Falcão took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alkestis Stasinopoulos. Alkestis Stasinopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ademar Ferreira hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Dufresne in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júlio Pais saved Red Proud FC from getting behind. Elia Vonrotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes Red Proud FC got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Sabrosa. Carlos Dufresne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Júlio Pais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Red Proud FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Carlos Dufresne scored to the left of an out of position Júlio Pais, making the score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Dufresne in the 31st minute of play forced Red Proud FC's goalkeeper Júlio Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes, Juvenal Assis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Proud FC and the FC Stadtclub players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Red Proud FC's Juvenal Assis got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Alkestis Stasinopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Sabrosa in the 35th minute of play. Júlio Pais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Dufresne's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Jacinto Ferrão kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Carlos Dufresne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Pais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Alkestis Stasinopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Falcão in the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Óscar Sabrosa made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Carlos Dufresne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Dufresne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Dufresne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Júlio Pais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos Dufresne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Red Proud FC's Júlio Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Dufresne in the 61st minute of play. Alkestis Stasinopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Sabrosa in the 63rd minute of the match. Júlio Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Dufresne, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Stadtclub's Yannick Walpert got a free kick in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Stadtclub's Romero Affolter got a free kick in the 70th minute. Red Proud FC's Júlio Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Dufresne in the 74th minute of play. FC Stadtclub's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Vrijdags was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Pais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juvenal Assis got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Juvenal Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Carlos Dufresne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Dufresne in the 92nd minute of play forced Red Proud FC's goalkeeper Júlio Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Red Proud FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. If Carlos Dufresne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
