An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Tuste in the 7th minute of play forced A.C ALDO BONZI's goalkeeper Raul Casomiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Herminio Paul fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C ALDO BONZI's protests and gave Herminio Paul a yellow card for diving instead. Herminio Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Amadeo Tuste might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Casomiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Tuste ran back to his position shaking his head. After 15th play minutes José Carlos Simões shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Raul Casomiro and just under the crossbar into goal. Raul Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Tuste in the 28th minute of play. Palmeiras were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after A.C ALDO BONZI's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Perivaldo Furlan took the corner. Perivaldo Furlan made a great header on Palmeiras's corner, it was just that A.C ALDO BONZI's Raul Casomiro managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Palmeiras booed when A.C ALDO BONZI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosendo Cresitobalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Carlos Augusto Recife made a huge save. Carlos Augusto Recife was a little too slow when Aquiles Iratze got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-2. Edgard Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genaro Firmo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. José Carlos Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Casomiro having to interfere. The supporters of A.C ALDO BONZI booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tião Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Tuste to make the kick off. Herminio Paul struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Carlos Augusto Recife didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C ALDO BONZI. Carlos Augusto Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Cresitobalo in the 55th minute of play. Raul Casomiro made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Tião Tróia sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Rosendo Cresitobalo made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Augusto Recife. Palmeiras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Palmeiras's Toninho Prestes was substituted for Dagoberto Moura. Tião Tróia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Palmeiras's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A.C ALDO BONZI's Herminio Paul got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Herminio Paul off the ground. Herminio Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Caio Boldrini's late challenge caught a A.C ALDO BONZI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caio Boldrini helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Caio Boldrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosendo Cresitobalo took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Augusto Recife. Carlos Augusto Recife dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The Palmeiras fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Palmeiras's Caio Boldrini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Palmeiras's Amadeo Tuste got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, A.C ALDO BONZI's goalkeeper Raul Casomiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caio Boldrini. Palmeiras were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
