Despite this Didi Gonçalves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 6 minutes of play, Zurdo FC's Edmundo Dos Santos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Didi Gonçalves was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Aimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zurdo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nagrand the free kick. Zak Choy kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Nagrand's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cornelio Ongile fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Didi Gonçalves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Azam Tan kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Didi Gonçalves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Ongile in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match, Edmundo Dos Santos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Didi Gonçalves was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nagrand's Didi Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Ongile in the 27th minute of play. Didi Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joel Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When 李建弘 fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zurdo FC's protests and gave 李建弘 a yellow card for diving instead. 34 minutes into the game, Nagrand's Joel Teo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The referee showed Prime Rajah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nagrand's Prime Rajah got a free kick in the 38th minute. Didi Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Ongile, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Didi Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Ubelteso in the 47th minute of the match.
The audience was convinced that Gabriel Mathews's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but La Cimas was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Joel Teo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cornelio Ongile made a great header on Zurdo FC's corner, it was just that Nagrand's Didi Gonçalves managed to reach the ball for a save. 67 minutes into the match, Nagrand's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Ubelteso came free, but Didi Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Ongile scored 3-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Didi Gonçalves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Didi Gonçalves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornelio Ongile went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Cornelio Ongile managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zurdo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Ongile was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didi Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Nagrand booed when Zurdo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Teo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without La Cimas having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zurdo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nagrand had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
