Spectators: 7765 (Terracing: 5825, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 154) Lauro Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebiu Ianculescu in the 3rd minute. Granicerul's Remus Vuia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Fantini in the 6th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Granicerul got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Boteanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson de Amorim in the 11th minute of play forced Granicerul's goalkeeper Remus Vuia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauro Corrêa was a little too slow when Iordache Ioneasa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Elivélton Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remus Vuia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elivélton Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Classe A Futebol Clube's Lauro Corrêa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Classe A Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Elivélton Seco notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Granicerul's Remus Vuia. Remus Vuia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Granicerul's Lauro Corrêa threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valeriu Zoreanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lauro Corrêa came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Granicerul's Eusebiu Ianculescu. But to his dismay, Eusebiu Ianculescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Jacinto Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Vuia having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tony Favoretto was the one to do the kick off. Remus Vuia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Favoretto in the 51st minute of play. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Granicerul's goalkeeper Remus Vuia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elivélton Seco. Jacinto Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Vuia having to interfere. Ahmet Arif Polatalp hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Granicerul's Remus Vuia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Granicerul from getting a goal against them. Enio Maia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Remus Vuia made a huge save. After 69 minutes of play, Classe A Futebol Clube's Jacinto Fantini made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remus Vuia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Classe A Futebol Clube defense, Codrin Olaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lauro Corrêa. The Classe A Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lauro Corrêa should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Granicerul's Manole Colin got a free kick in the 77th minute. Remus Vuia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Favoretto in the 80th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Granicerul's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Favoretto came free, but Remus Vuia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Vuia made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Elivélton Seco sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Codrin Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Vuia having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Granicerul were victorious despite being under pressure from Classe A Futebol Clube for much of the match.
