Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 5739, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sidónio Pacheco kicked off to start the match. When Veríssimo Sobral fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rua da Pinga's protests and gave Veríssimo Sobral a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rua da Pinga getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Veríssimo Sobral hit a great ball. After having played for 3 minutes, Robert Portanier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meerkats FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Portanier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Garcia came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Meerkats FC's Kevin Musu. But to his dismay, Kevin Musu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Amadeo Darmanin scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandre Garcia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 16 played minutes Rua da Pinga got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Karpinski. 19 minutes into the game, Sidónio Pacheco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rua da Pinga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meerkats FC the free kick. Sidónio Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Rua da Pinga got a freekick which was hit by Veríssimo Sesimbra. Kevin Musu scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandre Garcia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frederick Scicluna was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Sidónio Pacheco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sidónio Pacheco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Alexandre Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Darmanin, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Christopher Bugelli hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Rua da Pinga's Sidónio Pacheco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederick Scicluna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandre Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Darmanin in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Leonard Calleja made the kick off in the second half. Meerkats FC's Kevin Musu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zach Testaferrata Viani during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Zach Testaferrata Viani got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Rua da Pinga's goalkeeper Alexandre Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Musu. Alexandre Garcia didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Meerkats FC's Kevin Musu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-6 in the ordered_time% minute. After 61 minutes of play, Meerkats FC's Amadeo Darmanin made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Garcia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 64th play minutes Leonard Calleja shot 1-8, a short shot which went by Alexandre Garcia and just under the crossbar into goal. Amadeo Darmanin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Alexandre Garcia made a huge save. If Leonard Calleja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 70 minutes of play Rua da Pinga's Sidónio Pacheco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Sidónio Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Kevin Musus short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Alexandre Garcia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Rua da Pinga getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Abel Braga hit a great ball. Abel Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Leonard Calleja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meerkats FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Calleja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Leonard Calleja recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexandre Garcia. Leonard Calleja showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. Amadeo Darmanin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Alexandre Garcia made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonard Calleja kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexandre Garcia. That made the score 1-10 in the 91 minute of play.
