Sydney Pombal hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Granicerul's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kenji Takahara took the corner. The corner ended in Kenji Takahara almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Granicerul's Remus Vuia did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Laws in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Vuia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Eusebiu Ianculescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angelo Bertoni. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's goalkeeper Angelo Bertoni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebiu Ianculescu. Richard Laws struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Remus Vuia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Eusebiu Ianculescu scored to the left of an out of position Angelo Bertoni, making the score, 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Ares came free, but Angelo Bertoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xu Zhen Ping in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remus Vuia saved Granicerul from getting behind. Jack Ares scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Bertoni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Richard Laws struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Remus Vuia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ. When Jack Ares came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Granicerul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jack Ares couldn't finish the play. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Granicerul's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kenji Takahara took the corner. Eusebiu Ianculescu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Ettore Limitone sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remus Vuia skillfully saved the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebiu Ianculescu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Richard Laws had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Jack Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Bertoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Bertoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Ares, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Richard Laws managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Laws was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Xu Zhen Ping shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Vuia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebiu Ianculescu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Granicerul made a substitution. Codrin Olaru replaced Eusebiu Ianculescu. In the 74th minute, Xu Zhen Ping reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remus Vuia. The goal made the score 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Granicerul's zone, Xu Zhen Ping stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Vuia came out of the goal and Xu Zhen Ping tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Codrin Olaru's late challenge caught a ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Codrin Olaru helped the player get up and apologised.
