Frederick Scicluna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Luco went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute, Sem Barang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altermundi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Sem Barang hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Musu in the 21st minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Ysmael Alemparte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ysmael Alemparte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Calleja, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reyes Passalacqua to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's Zach Testaferrata Viani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ysmael Alemparte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Luco in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederick Scicluna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute, Rogelio Luco made a precise shot to the right of Frederick Scicluna. Meerkats FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 15-0. Rogelio Luco struck a weak shot in the 101st minute. Frederick Scicluna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altermundi FC. In the 101st minute, Sem Barang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altermundi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Altermundi FC fully deserved thier win.
