When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Osvaldo Peregrin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gao Fei. After a rather tough play, Real Racing Club's 卫青 Wu got a free kick in the 7th minute. Côme Concha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Joaquin Ispuzua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Joaquin Ispuzua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute 卫青 Wu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Ispuzua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Ispuzua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Palmann in the 22nd minute of play. After 26 minutes, Eden Hazar made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Real Racing Club's Gao Fei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gao Fei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eden Hazar in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Vanadio F.C.'s Joaquin Ispuzua got control of the ball when Kris Palmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kris Palmann to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kris Palmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Ispuzua was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The referee ignored Vanadio F.C.'s protests and gave Piearres Guajardo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Real Racing Club booed when Vanadio F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piearres Guajardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Ishmael Rico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vanadio F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Racing Club the free kick. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ishmael Rico hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vanadio F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
