An unexpectedly hard shot by Eden Hazar in the 22nd minute of play forced Classe A Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Lauro Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to Vanadio F.C.'s Jonathan Antecha getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 26th minute Eden Hazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Classe A Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Elivélton Seco hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Ishmael Rico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lauro Corrêa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joaquin Ispuzua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hudson Hoffmann in the 38th minute of the match. Ishmael Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Corrêa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Classe A Futebol Clube's Joélson de Amorim got a free kick in the 41st minute.

51 minutes into the match, Jonathan Antecha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lauro Corrêa. Classe A Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Antecha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 97 minutes, Ishmael Rico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vanadio F.C. and the Classe A Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Classe A Futebol Clube booed when Vanadio F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ishmael Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
