After 5 played minutes Granicerul got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Arif Polatalp. Jack Ares struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Joaquin Ispuzua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granicerul. Iordache Ioneasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Ispuzua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Jonathan Antecha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Remus Vuia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Gurruchaga. After recieving a nice pass, Granicerul's Cornel Nastac tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vanadio F.C.'s Joaquin Ispuzua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Ares in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes Vanadio F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cornel Nastac who took care of the corner kick. Iordache Ioneasa made a great header on Granicerul's corner, it was just that Vanadio F.C.'s Joaquin Ispuzua managed to reach the ball for a save. Joaquin Ispuzua had great luck who in the 22ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Iordache Ioneasa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Eusebiu Ianculescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Joaquin Ispuzua made a huge save. 24 minutes into the game, Jack Ares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Ispuzua. Jack Ares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Rodmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Piearres Guajardo. Joaquin Ispuzua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Ares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldo Peregrin in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Vuia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the game, Eden Hazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Remus Vuia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Ispuzua made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Eusebiu Ianculescu sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Ispuzua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Colin in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Evaristo Gurruchaga hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute Eusebiu Ianculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Ispuzua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Granicerul's Valeriu Zoreanu got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Joaquin Ispuzua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osvaldo Peregrin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Remus Vuia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joaquin Ispuzua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordache Ioneasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Joaquin Ispuzua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Ianculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes Granicerul's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evaristo Gurruchaga who took care of the corner kick. In the 75th minute, Osvaldo Peregrin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Manole Colin came free, but Joaquin Ispuzua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tension between the Vanadio F.C. and the Granicerul players grew even worse after the yellow card. Granicerul's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
