In the 2nd minute, Dobre Jest got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Dobre Jest's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Demicoli was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, Templars FC's Adam Aquilina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Ruszkowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 13 minutes Słodkie Cytryny's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adam Aquilina who took care of the corner kick. Adam Aquilina made a great header on Templars FC's corner, it was just that Słodkie Cytryny's Damian Ruszkowski managed to reach the ball for a save. If Kurt Abdilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Slazak hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Słodkie Cytryny's Samuel Demicoli threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dobre Jest, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Damian Ruszkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Aquilina in the 29th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Templars FC's George Pullicino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Ruszkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Babhruvahana Jebali could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Samuel Demicoli made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Dobre Jest notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Templars FC's Samuel Demicoli. Samuel Demicoli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Babhruvahana Jebali to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuel Demicoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babhruvahana Jebali in the 50th minute of play. Samuel Demicoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobre Jest in the 53rd minute of the match. With his leg Damian Ruszkowski managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Templars FC's Joaquin Phoenix fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 54 played minutes Słodkie Cytryny got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Jucha. In the 56th minute, Slawomir Jucha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Phoenix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Babhruvahana Jebali in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Demicoli saved Templars FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Templars FC's Colin Cassola got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Walery Piesciuk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Demicoli skillfully saved the ball. In the 61st minute Joaquin Phoenix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Ruszkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Demicoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babhruvahana Jebali in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Dobre Jest made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Demicoli. Templars FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Słodkie Cytryny's Jacek Wasikowski got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Dobre Jest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Demicoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Demicoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobre Jest in the 74th minute of the match. Dobre Jest's late challenge caught a Templars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dobre Jest helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Słodkie Cytryny getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dobre Jest hit a great ball. Adam Aquilina kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Templars FC booed when Słodkie Cytryny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Piesciuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colin Cassola kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes, Słodkie Cytryny's Jacek Wasikowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samuel Demicoli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Słodkie Cytryny reached it. In the 94th minute, Colin Cassola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Demicoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babhruvahana Jebali in the 95th minute of the match. Słodkie Cytryny's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
