Punk Fiction's Celestino Urbasa got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Urbasa came free, but Samuel Demicoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Templars FC's Sean Friggieri got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Punk Fiction's Celestino Urbasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Demicoli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 33 minutes into the game, Celestino Urbasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Samuel Demicoli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Clemente Nikola successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Punk Fiction's Celestino Urbasa in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Templars FC's goalie prevented a goal. Punk Fiction's Ambrosio Peruanton managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by George Pullicino in the 46 minute of the game.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celestino Urbasa to make the kick off. Clemente Nikola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Manicolo in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Celestino Urbasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Templars FC's Samuel Demicoli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Manicolo came free, but Clemente Nikola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Templars FC's Samuel Demicoli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Templars FC from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute Joaquin Phoenix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Nikola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Steve DeGaetano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Templars FC and the Punk Fiction players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Templars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve DeGaetano to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Urbasa in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Demicoli saved Templars FC from getting behind. Celestino Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th match minute, Templars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Pullicino to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Templars FC's goalkeeper Samuel Demicoli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Punk Fiction's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baldomero Delfino in the 92nd minute. After taking down the ball on Punk Fiction's corner Baldomero Delfino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Samuel Demicoli quite easily take care of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Punk Fiction had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
