Spectators: 7680 (Terracing: 5761, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wilfred Tollenaar got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, De Ontembare Leeuwen's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Valderrama came free, but Heiko Som reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Txindoki Ameda got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Jackson Wetzel got a free kick in the 11th minute. Mitchell Terpstra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cresconio Carreño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Lluis Pavieta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo ScrugenFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Ontembare Leeuwen the free kick. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Jacco Hoving couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo ScrugenFC. The supporters of Deportivo ScrugenFC booed when De Ontembare Leeuwen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacco Hoving didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rainerio Uria to maneuver through the defense. Heiko Som took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txindoki Ameda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes De Ontembare Leeuwen got a freekick which was hit by Victor de Jong. In the 48th minute Txindoki Ameda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiko Som saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

De Ontembare Leeuwen's Jacco Hoving took a good shot, in the 53rd minute, which hit the crossbar above Cresconio Carreño's head, and flew over the goal. Deportivo ScrugenFC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by De Ontembare Leeuwen. Heiko Som showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txindoki Ameda, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Txindoki Ameda scored 0-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heiko Som, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Heiko Som, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kevin Valderrama could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Heiko Som made a huge save. Cresconio Carreño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacco Hoving, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Heiko Som made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Txindoki Ameda sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the De Ontembare Leeuwen defense, Txindoki Ameda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Heiko Som. The De Ontembare Leeuwen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Heiko Som should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Txindoki Ameda in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heiko Som prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heiko Som made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txindoki Ameda in the 88th minute of play. Cresconio Carreño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfred Tollenaar in the 94th minute of the match.
