In the 47th minute Dan Stelaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garaona Alfeiran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Txindoki Ameda to strike the kick off in the second half. Vlad Voican didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Txindoki Ameda went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Garaona Alfeiran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Dan Stelaru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Garaona Alfeiran. Dan Stelaru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Kevin Valderrama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Voican having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Francisc Neaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV and the Deportivo ScrugenFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Txindoki Ameda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vlad Voican read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
