The referee showed Patrik Arhenius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Old BaoBaB Accademy booed when Kronan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Arhenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Claudio Lenci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Old BaoBaB Accademy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Man Dober took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Hellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Grönlund in the 13th minute of play forced Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalkeeper Man Dober to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Kronan got a corner. Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jens-Ola Samuelsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Man Dober made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Vennersten in the 19th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Kronan got a freekick which was hit by Svante Abrahamsson. Daniele Rugani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Man Dober made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Vennersten in the 23rd minute of play. Claudio Lenci struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Harald Myr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old BaoBaB Accademy. A collision led to Kronan getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Birger Alströmer hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Claudio Lenci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Old BaoBaB Accademy's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Lenci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harald Myr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harald Myr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Lenci's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Harald Myr was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Claudio Lenci capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudio Lenci really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Hellkvist in the 40th minute of play forced Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalkeeper Man Dober to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes, Daniele Rugani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Old BaoBaB Accademy and the Kronan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Rugani to maneuver through the defense. If Bernt Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

55 minutes into the game, Claudio Lenci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Harald Myr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute Claudio Lenci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Myr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Baggio to maneuver through the defense. Harald Myr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 82nd minute, Daniele Rugani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes, Bernt Hellkvist made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Old BaoBaB Accademy's Man Dober tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Amos Bisegna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harald Myr. Kronan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amos Bisegna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2.
