Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chris Cabezon kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, New England Minas's Diogo Yurin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Slaven Dietze. Slaven Dietze yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Chris Cabezon made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 15thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Slaven Dietze would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 19th minute Pinkus Mack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Wickede didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clinton Caballero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Markusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Gomminginger in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Yurin in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slaven Dietze saved Academica Pulheim from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moritz Christe in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Markusson saved New England Minas from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Pinkus Mack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogo Yurin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moritz Christe in the 45th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Martin Markusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Moritz Christe made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Moritz Christe came free, but Martin Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sem Terra hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Martin Markusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Gomminginger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Markusson made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Edgar Gomminginger sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Meinolf Rebe came free, but Martin Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Academica Pulheim getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ali Köpsel hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Cabezon in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Slaven Dietze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Slaven Dietze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Yurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute New England Minas were awarded a corner. Clinton Caballero went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 80thth minute of the game Diogo Yurin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academica Pulheim's Slaven Dietze was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Chris Cabezon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Moritz Christe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, New England Minas's Martin Markusson got control of the ball when Ali Köpsel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Markusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moritz Christe in the 86th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Academica Pulheim's corner Malte Rastätter fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Martin Markusson quite easily take care of the ball. Slaven Dietze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Cabezon in the 90th minute of play. Slaven Dietze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Yurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. New England Minas's Martin Markusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. Pinkus Mack might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Markusson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pinkus Mack ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The New England Minas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Academica Pulheim had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
