Stojan Krhan hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Mathiassen came free, but Serbülent Baysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FRANK's Hugo Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save FRANK from getting a goal against them. Serbülent Baysan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ola Børseth's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Alexandrino Gameiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Hugo Moraes made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitaliy Fedchenko got free with Hugo Moraes in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugo Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitaliy Fedchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Mathiassen in the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Baumar Ontanilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes FRANK got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Senneville. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy Fedchenko in the 55th minute of play forced FRANK's goalkeeper Hugo Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Stefan Mathiassen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Serbülent Baysan did a great save. In the 72nd minute of the match, Ola Børseth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Serbülent Baysan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 74 played minutes FC Anderlecht Huachipato got a freekick which was hit by Stojan Krhan. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Stojan Krhan got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Stojan Krhan off the ground. Stojan Krhan kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Mathiassen got free with Serbülent Baysan in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stefan Mathiassen scored 0-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serbülent Baysan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goal looked a bit too open when Roald Engebakken came free, but Serbülent Baysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorio Monte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roald Engebakken charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roald Engebakken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victorio Monte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the FC Anderlecht Huachipato defense, Roald Engebakken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serbülent Baysan. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serbülent Baysan should have stopped the shot. FRANK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
