Spectators: 7737 (Terracing: 5804, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Rupert Simmons got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Lúcio Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rex Ellis in the 6th minute of play. Rex Ellis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Domingues having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Recolta Alamor's Luciano Cronshagen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lúcio Domingues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Recolta Alamor's Rupert Simmons got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Nova Iguaçu MZFC defense, Rupert Simmons kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lúcio Domingues. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lúcio Domingues should have stopped the shot. Lúcio Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rex Ellis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute of the match, Luciano Cronshagen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lúcio Domingues saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 3-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Luciano Cronshagen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rex Ellis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Lúcio Domingues skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phil Riggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Domingues having to interfere. 4-0 became the score in the 45th minute when Rex Ellis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Elói Senna made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rex Ellis came free, but Lúcio Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luciano Cronshagen was slow to take the kick. During this time Recolta Alamor's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Recolta Alamor's corner Phil Riggs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lúcio Domingues quite easily take care of the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Recolta Alamor's Rex Ellis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lúcio Domingues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Lúcio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Ellis in the 64th minute of play. Lúcio Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rex Ellis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rupert Simmons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lúcio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Simmons in the 68th minute of play. Recolta Alamor were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luciano Cronshagen took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Luciano Cronshagen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lúcio Domingues quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Phil Riggs got a free kick in the 71st minute. Recolta Alamor's Norberto Ivey was substituted for Phil Riggs. After 73 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Phil Riggs. Deivid Queirós hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Luciano Cronshagen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Lúcio Domingues didn't even have to move. After 79 minutes of play, Recolta Alamor's Norberto Ivey made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Lúcio Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rex Ellis in the 84th minute of play. Lúcio Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyson Helton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Ivey kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Grigore Proca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Leme in the 89th minute of play. If Norberto Ivey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Recolta Alamor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
