Spectators: 7705 (Terracing: 5780, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Super Penalitop's Vincent Ørkild started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Super Penalitop's Celso Criston seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Celso Criston the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Super Penalitop protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Celso Criston had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Super Penalitop fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Lion Milei, was totally fooled by Salmuera CP's Paulino Orixe, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulino Orixe got free with Lion Milei in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Honorio Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Arano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 played minutes Salmuera CP got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Orixe. Lion Milei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Paskal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Gonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Eloy Vela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Salmuera CP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Daunte to maneuver through the defense. Salmuera CP's Eloy Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Gonzo in the 37th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Orixe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Adolfo Tabby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lion Milei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 played minutes Salmuera CP got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Vedillo. After a defensive mix-up in Salmuera CP's zone, Honorio Arano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Vela came out of the goal and Honorio Arano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Super Penalitop's Generoso Gonzo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Vela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severiano Rios went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Salmuera CP's Eloy Vela got control of the ball when Generoso Gonzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Severiano Rios came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Super Penalitop fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Rios couldn't finish the play. Eloy Vela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Beltrame in the 81st minute. Lion Milei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Paskal in the 87th minute of play. Lion Milei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Tabby went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, Salmuera CP's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Iniesta came free, but Eloy Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Super Penalitop players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Salmuera CP.
