Spectators: 7663 (Terracing: 5748, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Lino Madeo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Monumento Sports's Joel Lopes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Pelagius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Anacleto Norino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Madeo got free with Natanael Sena in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Reconquistense FC's Natanael Sena threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Astor Ler, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joel Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Pelagius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Narciso Machado heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 25th match minute, Reconquistense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Ler to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Kosta Kent had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Pelagius. Reconquistense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kosta Kent was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Anacleto Norino kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Reconquistense FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Silvestre Joanes hit a great ball. Natanael Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Madeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Silvestre Joanes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Monumento Sports's Bunda Brilhante quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After the first half Monumento Sports were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toninho Arruda to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Prudencio Raulo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natanael Sena. Monumento Sports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Raulo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Lino Madeo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Reconquistense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Madeo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Monumento Sports booed when Reconquistense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Joanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reconquistense FC made a substitution. Isaac Asur replaced Anacleto Norino. Lino Madeo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natanael Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Madeo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute Reconquistense FC were awarded a corner. Iker Ugutz went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Iker Ugutz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Natanael Sena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lino Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Natanael Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Reconquistense FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Calvet. In the 93rd minute, Lino Madeo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natanael Sena was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Astor Ler might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natanael Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Ler ran back to his position shaking his head. Lino Madeo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natanael Sena having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Reconquistense FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
