Leon Oliverio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Manoel Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wit Winnicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Oliverio having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Taci Argün's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dráusio Pitta was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 25 minutes Pégasus F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manoel Barros who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Abelardo Intxixu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pégasus F. C.'s Dráusio Pitta did a great save. Dráusio Pitta made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Manoel Barros sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute Club Atlético Magallanes were awarded a corner. Manoel Barros went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Club Atlético Magallanes's Manoel Barros to fire away a dangerous shot which Dráusio Pitta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Wit Winnicki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Oliverio was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Wit Winnicki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Oliverio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half Pégasus F. C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Taci Argün made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Magallanes defense, Cristian Ronaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Oliverio. The Club Atlético Magallanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Oliverio should have stopped the shot. Wit Winnicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Leon Oliverio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taci Argün blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dráusio Pitta having to make a save. Leon Oliverio was a little too slow when Cristian Ronaldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 71st minute, Taci Argün left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Magallanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 77th minute Taci Argün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Club Atlético Magallanes were awarded a corner. Manoel Barros went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taci Argün in the 80th minute of play forced Pégasus F. C.'s goalkeeper Dráusio Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 83 in the game by Wit Winnicki from a close distance when the talented Leon Oliverio managed to make a qualified save. Club Atlético Magallanes's players were relieved. Leon Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Winnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Manoel Barros fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Magallanes's protests and gave Manoel Barros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pégasus F. C. booed when Club Atlético Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chiquinho Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taci Argün took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráusio Pitta. Dráusio Pitta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Pégasus F. C. played a much better game than Club Atlético Magallanes and deserved their victory. The Club Atlético Magallanes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
