Spectators: 7723 (Terracing: 5793, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Rogelio Jaen made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Rogelio Jaen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chiquinho Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 10 played minutes Defensores de Mar de Ajó got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Montez. Lucas Janson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jaime Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Romero having to interfere. When Severino Cucao came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Frontera AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Cucao couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Miguel Merentiel could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Benedicto Iago however easily saved by the left post. Isidoro Lluis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Iago having to interfere. Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Chus in the 33rd minute of play. Chiquinho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiquinho Romero came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Silverio Vachon. But to his dismay, Silverio Vachon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Chiquinho Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Donostia in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Janson made a kick off. Chiquinho Romero made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Braulio Perrando sent off a good shot on target. Braulio Perrando's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Chiquinho Romero firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Vachon in the 56th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Braulio Perrando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chiquinho Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Jaime Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frontera AFC's Silvestre Solustiano was substituted for Isidoro Lluis. Frontera AFC made a substitution. Cristian Lema replaced Cristian Medina. Benedicto Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Cucao in the 68th minute of the match. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Benedicto Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Merentiel in the 71st minute of play. Frontera AFC's Miguel Merentiel got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Donostia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Vachon in the 78th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Lucas Janson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Merentiel's late challenge caught a Defensores de Mar de Ajó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Merentiel helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Frontera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Merentiel. Chiquinho Romero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaime Chus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Benedicto Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Cucao in the 94th minute of play. The Frontera AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Defensores de Mar de Ajó's performance. The match ended with a win for Defensores de Mar de Ajó.
