Cristo Rico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 45 minutes of play, Paunero's Cecilio Mel made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristo Rico was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hassan Huerta was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Silverio Semeno notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Real Club Celta de Vigo's Cristo Rico. Cristo Rico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Paunero could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Club Celta de Vigo throughout the match.
