The referee ignored TSV Delliehausen's protests and gave Finn Seel a yellow card for diving instead. Finn Seel kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Amorim in the 48th minute of play forced TSV Delliehausen's goalkeeper Kuno Kraft to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elmar Brink to make the kick off.
