The score was now 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Edgard Rijaard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lennart Svanström. After 12 played minutes Fc Benefica got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Terpstra. Linus Benett shot from long distance in the 13th minute, but Edgard Rijaard was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Arce in the 15th minute of play forced Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Edgard Rijaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Benefica's Edgard Rijaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Arce in the 17th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yngve Lindberg during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Garphyttan's Yngve Lindberg got a free kick in the 20th minute. Garphyttan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Linus Benett in the 32nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Linus Benett got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgard Rijaard quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 36 played minutes Garphyttan got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Nordmark. Ronald Lammens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Gummeson having to interfere. Garphyttan's Jörgen Gummeson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Lammens in the 41st minute of play. Yngve Lindberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Yngve Lindberg kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Yuri Paauwe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jörgen Gummeson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lennart Svanström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl-Åke Sandell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Rijaard having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Nordmark came free, but Edgard Rijaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Svanström in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Rijaard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute Karl-Åke Sandell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Rijaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Åke Sandell might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard Rijaard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Åke Sandell ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute Ronald Lammens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Gummeson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Åke Sandell kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Gösta Henriksson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fc Benefica's Denny van den Berg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, Garphyttan's Jörgen Gummeson got control of the ball when Yuri Paauwe tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Lammens came free, but Jörgen Gummeson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Karl-Åke Sandell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes Garphyttan got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Arce. After 95 played minutes Fc Benefica got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Paauwe.
