F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Santos in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Agostinho Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Bogdan Lobonț. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th minute Narcis Agachi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Yu Ying Yang fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventudes Libertárias's protests and gave Yu Ying Yang a yellow card for diving instead. Wágner Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Agachi in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juventudes Libertárias's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Narcis Agachi was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Narcis Agachi at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Juventudes Libertárias. 1-1. The supporters of Juventudes Libertárias booed when F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Potopea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Bogdan Lobonț successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Valeriu Bucurescu got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ovidiu Voicescu.

Valeriu Bucurescu in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wágner Seco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 54 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Agachi came free, but Wágner Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Almeida in the 82nd minute of play. Ovidiu Voicescu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes of play, Juventudes Libertárias's Márcio Santos made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Lobonț was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Narcis Agachi got a free kick in the 90th minute. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ritvaldis Rau, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Gilson Meirelles came free, but Bogdan Lobonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juventudes Libertárias's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
