F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Poteralski in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calistrat Potopea got free with Slawomir Gotfryd in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Slawomir Gotfryd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Potopea in the 42nd minute of play. Ovidiu Voicescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Slawomir Gotfryd firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hubert Lewandowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Lobonț read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Artur Wichniarek's late challenge caught a F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Wichniarek helped the player get up and apologised. In the 50th minute, one of FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala. FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala:s Slawomir Gotfryd showed great skill when he stopped Narcis Agachi:s penalty. Bogdan Lobonț made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Hubert Lewandowski sent off a good shot on target. Narcis Agachi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Slawomir Gotfryd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's Grzegorz Sowa got a free kick in the 64th minute. Slawomir Gotfryd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Agachi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Potopea came free, but Slawomir Gotfryd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Calistrat Potopea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slawomir Gotfryd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game Calistrat Potopea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's Slawomir Gotfryd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bogdan Lobonț was a little too slow when Wlodzimierz Arendarski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 85th minute Calistrat Potopea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slawomir Gotfryd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala were furious when Artur Wichniarek was red carded, 87 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala! Calistrat Potopea charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calistrat Potopea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented F.C CLUJ MEDICINA from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
