The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ronald Lammens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Sture came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Benefica's Ronald Lammens. But to his dismay, Ronald Lammens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ronald Lammens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute Martin Ødegaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Sture saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Fc Benefica's Iwan Terpstra to fire away a dangerous shot which Sten Sture despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 21st minute, Karl Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 宋宇博 took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sten Sture. Sten Sture dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 27th minute, but Sten Sture got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Lost Boys Sports Academy hanging dry this time. 34 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Lammens came free, but Sten Sture reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Denny van den Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Benefica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denny van den Berg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Lost Boys Sports Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt Hughes to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronald Lammens made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Styrbjörn Kapten in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fc Benefica's Joost Blank. Simon Johansson kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Iwan Terpstra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sten Sture showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fc Benefica's Joost Blank quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Styrbjörn Kapten, made in the 67th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Ronald Lammens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Benefica's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Lammens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sten Sture breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Styrbjörn Kapten charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Styrbjörn Kapten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fc Benefica booed when Lost Boys Sports Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Styrbjörn Kapten didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ronald Lammens sped through Lost Boys Sports Academy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sten Sture. 87 minutes into the game, Joakim Sandberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lost Boys Sports Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Benefica the free kick. Joakim Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Styrbjörn Kapten was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 94th minute of the match Iwan Terpstra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sten Sture skillfully saved the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Iwan Terpstra in the 96th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lost Boys Sports Academy's Rikard Månsson. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fc Benefica had played much better football throughout.
