In the 13th minute Narcis Agachi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Sture saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Sten Sture played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Agachi in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes Lost Boys Sports Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Narcis Agachi who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ovidiu Voicescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sten Sture quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 16 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Agachi came free, but Sten Sture reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Calistrat Potopea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sten Sture. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 20th minute, Jan-Ove Boström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Nils-Åke Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Lobonț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Lobonț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Åke Sjö, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narcis Agachi got free with Sten Sture in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calistrat Potopea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sten Sture tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute of the match, Narcis Agachi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sten Sture saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narcis Agachi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Nils-Åke Sjö sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Lobonț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Potopea in the 52nd minute of play forced Lost Boys Sports Academy's goalkeeper Sten Sture to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Narcis Agachi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sten Sture skillfully saved the ball. 75 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Sjö came free, but Bogdan Lobonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sten Sture came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Calistrat Potopea. But to his dismay, Calistrat Potopea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 88th minute of the game Mihnea Găină made a throw-in which Ovidiu Voicescu played forward. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Sten Sture played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Potopea in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Calistrat Potopea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sten Sture was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA had won after a very even match.
