Santino Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klevis Selvia in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Moreta Bernia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moreta Bernia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Santino Mora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Terres in the 14th minute of play forced ...Pingue S.C....'s goalkeeper Estevam Gavilanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ...Pingue S.C....'s Estevam Gavilanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Terres in the 16th minute of play. When Leonardo Meca fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Santiago's protests and gave Leonardo Meca a yellow card for diving instead. Leonardo Meca hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. ...Pingue S.C....'s Moreta Bernia got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Deportivo Santiago's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Moreta Bernia scored to the left of an out of position Santino Mora, making the score, 1-0. After 33 minutes, Xaiver Bara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Santiago and the ...Pingue S.C.... players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Club Deportivo Santiago got a freekick which was hit by Xaiver Bara. Esteban Gavilanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Moreta Bernia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santino Mora, passed just outside the right post. Estevam Gavilanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuberoa Mesia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santino Mora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moreta Bernia, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Estevam Gavilanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Loarte in the 43rd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 51st minute, Club Deportivo Santiago's Zuri Espinosa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zuri Espinosa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Deportivo Santiago protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zuri Espinosa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for ...Pingue S.C..... Moreta Bernia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Santino Mora. 2-0. Santino Mora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moreta Bernia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th match minute, Club Deportivo Santiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaiver Bara to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Santiago's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Gavilanes came free, but Santino Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Leonardo Meca threw the ball into play from the sideline. ...Pingue S.C....'s Klevis Selvia quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 65 minutes, Evelio Terres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Santiago and the ...Pingue S.C.... players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Club Deportivo Santiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Terres to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Santiago's goal looked a bit too open when Moreta Bernia came free, but Santino Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Deportivo Santiago getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Evelio Terres hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evelio Terres got free with Estevam Gavilanes in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ...Pingue S.C....'s Estevam Gavilanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save ...Pingue S.C.... from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Santiago's goal looked a bit too open when Moreta Bernia came free, but Santino Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Zuberoa Mesia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ...Pingue S.C.... players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
