Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luis Aravena started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Rose Encina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Velasco was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Carmichael Tinsley got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fletcher Baba in the 10th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, one of Australian Youth Academy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Australian Youth Academy. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Vladimiro Leroy hit a great ball. Fletcher Baba struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Tomás Las Casas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Australian Youth Academy. The Magallanes fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Magallanes's Luis Aravena looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st minute, Luis Aravena fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tomás Las Casas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Baba in the 45th minute of play. Humberto Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rose Encina in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Dante Baba made the kick off in the second half. Casper Keato hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. When Shaun Haley fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Australian Youth Academy's protests and gave Shaun Haley a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Velasco. Australian Youth Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 64th minute, Luis Aravena made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Velasco. Australian Youth Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 72nd minute of the match Bernardo Dibarrart sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Velasco skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rose Encina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Fletcher Baba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Las Casas skillfully saved the ball. Magallanes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Dante Baba scored to the left of an out of position Tomás Las Casas, making the score, 6-1. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Las Casas was a little too slow when Carmichael Tinsley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 6-2. When the referee ended the match the Magallanes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
