The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Humberto Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Kinnman in the 18th minute of play. Gilbert Olsman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. If Dante Baba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Veiga in the 33rd minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Humberto Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amund Villarreal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Velasco having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Amund Villarreal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Humberto Velasco, 3-0. In the 41st match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed Mcwilliam to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amund Villarreal to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shaun Haley to maneuver through the defense. Ed Mcwilliam made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Six Pac FC's Arvin Ivarsson. Chuck Ruff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Baba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chuck Ruff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmichael Tinsley, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Amund Villarreal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amund Villarreal in the 61st minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Humberto Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casper Keato got free with Chuck Ruff in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Baba showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casper Keato got free with Chuck Ruff in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Six Pac FC's Chuck Ruff got control of the ball when Carmichael Tinsley tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmichael Tinsley to maneuver through the defense. Chuck Ruff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Baba in the 79th minute of the match. Amund Villarreal might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Velasco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amund Villarreal ran back to his position shaking his head. Humberto Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amund Villarreal in the 81st minute of play. Carmichael Tinsley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Chuck Ruff made a huge save. With a little luck, Six Pac FC's Chuck Ruff got control of the ball when Dante Baba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amund Villarreal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Velasco having to make a save. Chuck Ruff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dakota Gaffigan in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Australian Youth Academy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Six Pac FC.
