In the 3rd minute, Zühtü Sualp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the game, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Baltazar Fonticoba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernado Muslera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baudilio Andres in the 7th minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Fernado Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lalla Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernado Muslera having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Baltazar Fonticoba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 19th minute, Baudilio Andres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernado Muslera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Baudilio Andres might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernado Muslera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baudilio Andres ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Baudilio Andres notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of CAN ERZURUM's Fernado Muslera. Fernado Muslera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ismael Cabrera hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CAN ERZURUM's Halis Özbilen got a free kick in the 31st minute. Fernado Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Fonticoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltazar Fonticoba in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernado Muslera saved CAN ERZURUM from getting behind. Baltazar Fonticoba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fernado Muslera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Fonticoba came free, but Fernado Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarracino Lastras made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ahmet İlke Akbayrak sent off a good shot on target. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Baltazar Fonticoba got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauri Icardi was the one to do the kick off. Baudilio Andres struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Fernado Muslera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauri Icardi in the 57th minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Sarracino Lastras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Cabrera was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Mauri Icardi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Sarracino Lastras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Baltazar Fonticoba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO made a substitution. Rey Northe replaced Baudilio Andres. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Ildefonso Ucero was substituted for Baltazar Fonticoba. Rey Northe hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet İlke Akbayrak came free, but Sarracino Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CAN ERZURUM's Fernado Muslera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save CAN ERZURUM from getting a goal against them. Lalla Diaz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fernado Muslera firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Greger Rosén hit a great ball. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Fernado Muslera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Rey Northe managed to get in a good position for a shot. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's supporters rose to their feet, but Rey Northe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernado Muslera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The CAN ERZURUM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
