Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mauri Icardi got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Real Còrdoba FC's Nils-Emil Vallgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adem El Abidine Ben Ali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Echezonachukwu Håland in the 5th minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Adem El Abidine Ben Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 played minutes, Real Còrdoba FC's Mikel Arteta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adem El Abidine Ben Ali came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Còrdoba FC reached it. Baldomero Ugaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bilgin Yenisey in the 14th minute. CAN ERZURUM's Adem El Abidine Ben Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Emil Vallgren in the 15th minute of play. Echezonachukwu Håland scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adem El Abidine Ben Ali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute Echezonachukwu Håland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adem El Abidine Ben Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Echezonachukwu Håland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adem El Abidine Ben Ali. CAN ERZURUM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Echezonachukwu Håland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 35 minutes into the game, Bilgin Yenisey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baldomero Ugaitz. Bilgin Yenisey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 39 minutes into the game, Real Còrdoba FC's Isidoro Dalmau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adem El Abidine Ben Ali made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. If Isidoro Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Echezonachukwu Håland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adem El Abidine Ben Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Real Còrdoba FC got a corner. CAN ERZURUM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Abascal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mikel Arteta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 47 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Echezonachukwu Håland came free, but Adem El Abidine Ben Ali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Echezonachukwu Håland to strike the kick off in the second half. Adem El Abidine Ben Ali made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Nils-Emil Vallgren sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arın Ferhat Kocaker during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CAN ERZURUM's Arın Ferhat Kocaker got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 67th play minute Echezonachukwu Håland came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adem El Abidine Ben Ali. 1-4. Real Còrdoba FC's Baldomero Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauri Icardi in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Còrdoba FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet İlke Akbayrak was slow to take the kick. During this time CAN ERZURUM's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on CAN ERZURUM's corner Cankut Bakanay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baldomero Ugaitz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 75th minute, Echezonachukwu Håland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Real Còrdoba FC made a substitution. Celestino Marino replaced Moise Tomulescu. A collision led to Real Còrdoba FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Nils-Emil Vallgren hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, Real Còrdoba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Vallgren to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes of play, Real Còrdoba FC's Mikel Arteta made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adem El Abidine Ben Ali was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Real Còrdoba FC booed when CAN ERZURUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauri Icardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Còrdoba FC's Baldomero Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauri Icardi in the 89th minute of play. Celestino Marino came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adem El Abidine Ben Ali could save by the left post. Real Còrdoba FC played a much better game than CAN ERZURUM and deserved their victory. The CAN ERZURUM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
