Oliviero Vados showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Sabrosa in the 2nd minute of the match. Oliviero Vados took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerónimo Sabrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Jordão Figueiredo came free, but Oliviero Vados reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jordão Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Minho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jordão Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. Jerónimo Sabrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Oliviero Vados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Francisco Sesma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 minutes, Jerónimo Sabrosa made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Oliviero Vados tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Reinaldo Moutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Calçada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perutxo Diego in the 38th minute of play. Tiago Solorzano charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Solorzano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Tiago Solorzano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Minho FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerónimo Sabrosa made a kick off. Otsando Roberto made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Perutxo Diego immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to Minho FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Reinaldo Moutinho hit a great ball. Oliviero Vados didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerónimo Sabrosa went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Oliviero Vados showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerónimo Sabrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tiago Solorzano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tiago Solorzano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 73 minutes, Minho FC's Marco Varela got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® reached it. In the 80th minute, Jerónimo Sabrosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Jerónimo Sabrosa made a precise shot to the right of Oliviero Vados. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5.
