After 78 minutes Minho FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eric Heredia who took care of the corner kick. Plaza Babys CF's Eric Heredia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jairo Calçada in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Manuel Moya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Varela in the 82nd minute of play. Bo Kristiansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Jairo Calçada made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jeremias Izaguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plaza Babys CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Izaguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
