A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 13 minutes into the game, Basilio Mateus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Luiz Matorin. Basilio Mateus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Varela came free, but Tobias Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luiz Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Siro Elazar fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento de Resistencia's protests and gave Siro Elazar a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Siro Elazar. After 78 minutes, Gildo da Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AS Pikachuzim and the Sarmiento de Resistencia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AS Pikachuzim getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gildo da Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Siro Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Tobias Elizardo made a huge save.
