Spectators: 7738 (Terracing: 5805, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bo Kristiansson kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Plaza Babys CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Heredia to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Micaelense's Hermano Amaro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Plaza Babys CF. In the 6th minute Alcides Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Moya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Plaza Babys CF's Manuel Moya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermano Amaro in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Hermano Amaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Moya was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aparicio Ladra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Alexandre Paixão made a huge save. Atlético Micaelense's Alexandre Paixão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Kristiansson in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bo Kristiansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandre Paixão was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. A collision led to Atlético Micaelense getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alcides Lobo hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Leonel Cerqueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Moya skillfully saved the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Bo Kristiansson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexandre Paixão. Bo Kristiansson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Roberto Paixão kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, Atlético Micaelense's Torcato Paião made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Moya was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Torcato Paião fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Micaelense's protests and gave Torcato Paião a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Atlético Micaelense getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Torcato Paião hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Torcato Paião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Moya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Micaelense booed when Plaza Babys CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Plaza Babys CF's Manuel Moya got control of the ball when Alcides Lobo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Plaza Babys CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hermano Amaro was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Micaelense's players had a chance to rest. Alcides Lobo struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Manuel Moya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Micaelense. Manuel Moya made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Alcides Lobo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermano Amaro got free with Manuel Moya in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Hermano Amaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Moya, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Hermano Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Micaelense's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermano Amaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Moya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th match minute, Atlético Micaelense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermano Amaro to maneuver through the defense. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlético Micaelense! In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Plaza Babys CF. Eric Heredia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alexandre Paixão. 2-3.
