In the 7th minute Dadá Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Calçada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Emanuel Barata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Dadá Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Calçada was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Minho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Bittencourt came free, but Jairo Calçada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luiz Matorin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Minho FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Saúl Passos hit a great ball. Gil Vale was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Minho FC's Jordão Figueiredo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pedro Luiz Matorin but with some difficulty. After having played for 40 minutes, João Vilas Boas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Vilas Boas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Minho FC's Marco Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Minho FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AS Pikachuzim were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Dadá Torres made the kick off in the second half. David Bulhosa hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Gil Vale, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Saúl Passos's late challenge caught a AS Pikachuzim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saúl Passos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AS Pikachuzim booed when Minho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saúl Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Minho FC's Jairo Calçada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Minho FC from getting a goal against them. Jairo Calçada made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Dadá Torres sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Torres in the 77th minute of play forced Minho FC's goalkeeper Jairo Calçada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cristian Bittencourt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Calçada was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the game, Dadá Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Pikachuzim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minho FC the free kick. A collision led to AS Pikachuzim getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AS Pikachuzim had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
