King Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torcato Paião's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Hermano Amaro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's King Duarte. King Duarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute Rambo Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Paixão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Paixão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Vegetti in the 25th minute of the match. Hermano Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without King Duarte having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alcides Lobo got free with King Duarte in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rambo Duarte in the 41st minute of play forced Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Alexandre Paixão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Atlético Micaelense's goal looked a bit too open when Rambo Duarte came free, but Alexandre Paixão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes, Torcato Paião mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Micaelense and the CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land players grew even worse after the yellow card. 43 minutes into the match, Pablo Vegetti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandre Paixão. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torcato Paião to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Jorge Eanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but King Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. King Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcides Lobo in the 95th minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, one of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
