Graeme McLise didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento de Resistencia. 15 minutes into the match, Leicester Foxes Academy's Jez Alcock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Elizardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tobias Elizardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kelvin Eyre went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Basilio Mateus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Graeme McLise when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Basilio Mateus notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Leicester Foxes Academy's Graeme McLise. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Pennant got free with Tobias Elizardo in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basilio Mateus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leicester Foxes Academy's Julian Joachim was substituted for Jez Alcock. After 64 minutes, Julian Joachim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leicester Foxes Academy and the Sarmiento de Resistencia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Leicester Foxes Academy got a freekick which was hit by Julian Joachim. If Peter Pennant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kelvin Eyre in the 70th minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Tobias Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Niven in the 73rd minute of play. In the 81st play minute Julian Joachim came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tobias Elizardo. 1-3. After 85 minutes of play, Leicester Foxes Academy's Peter Pennant made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Elizardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Basilio Mateus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Mateus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Graeme McLise breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Kelvin Eyre came free, but Tobias Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo got control of the ball when Peter Pennant tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Leicester Foxes Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
