Jairo Calçada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Calçada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Sobolewski in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Pawel Sobolewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Korona Kielce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Minho FC's Jairo Calçada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Porter in the 15th minute of play. Jairo Calçada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Duxbury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Tommy Porter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Calçada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacek Podgórski kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Jairo Calçada came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Korona Kielce's Pawel Sobolewski. But to his dismay, Pawel Sobolewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jairo Calçada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Podgórski, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Jacek Podgórski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Calçada was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stephen Duxbury during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Korona Kielce getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Stephen Duxbury hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Korona Kielce's Pawel Golanski got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Jairo Calçada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Podgórski, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Minho FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Korona Kielce were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stephen Duxbury made a kick off. When Pawel Sobolewski came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Korona Kielce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pawel Sobolewski couldn't finish the play. Jairo Calçada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Porter in the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Minho FC's zone, Stephen Duxbury stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Calçada came out of the goal and Stephen Duxbury tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Korona Kielce's Tom Tully was substituted for Jacek Podgórski. The supporters of Korona Kielce booed when Minho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Bulhosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Stephen Duxbury hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korona Kielce made a substitution. Simon Wray replaced Edi Carlo. Stephen Duxbury hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Simon Wray fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Korona Kielce's protests and gave Simon Wray a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Korona Kielce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Wray to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th match minute, Minho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordão Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Tom Tully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jairo Calçada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pawel Sobolewski went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When the match was over Korona Kielce could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Minho FC throughout the match.
