In the 5th minute Julian Joachim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Moya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo Kristiansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Graeme McLise read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester Foxes Academy's goalkeeper Graeme McLise, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Bo Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Graeme McLise successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bo Kristiansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Graeme McLise when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bo Kristiansson struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Graeme McLise didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plaza Babys CF. In the 15th minute Dean Niven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Moya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Plaza Babys CF got a freekick which was hit by Aparicio Ladra. Aparicio Ladra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Graeme McLise when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Bo Kristiansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graeme McLise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Leicester Foxes Academy booed when Plaza Babys CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Heredia didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Leicester Foxes Academy getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Kelvin Eyre hit a great ball. Graeme McLise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roi Morales in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Peter Pennant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Moya was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Aparicio Ladra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Graeme McLise made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Pennant in the 35th minute of play forced Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper Manuel Moya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plaza Babys CF's Manuel Moya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Pennant in the 40th minute of play. Jeremias Izaguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graeme McLise having to interfere. Graeme McLise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Kristiansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 52nd minute Julian Joachim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Moya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, Plaza Babys CF's Aparicio Ladra made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Graeme McLise was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leicester Foxes Academy's Graeme McLise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Kristiansson in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Julian Joachim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Moya. Julian Joachim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. In the 64th minute Peter Pennant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Moya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Moya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Pennant, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Graeme McLise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Izaguirre in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Plaza Babys CF's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Joachim came free, but Manuel Moya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Moya made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Peter Pennant sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Kristiansson in the 82nd minute of play forced Leicester Foxes Academy's goalkeeper Graeme McLise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Graeme McLise stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eder Cienfuegos's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Leicester Foxes Academy were furious when Seth Bagshaw was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Leicester Foxes Academy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Plaza Babys CF:s goal. Graeme McLise had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Eric Heredia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The Plaza Babys CF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Leicester Foxes Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
