An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Mota in the 19th minute of play forced U21 Totoras F.C.'s goalkeeper Germán Burgos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Edur in the 23rd minute of the match. Valdo de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Edur, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a little luck, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Germán Burgos got control of the ball when Hortêncio Passos tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edmondo Sarnelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Valdo de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Edur, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to EDI MZB getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Geovani Mandrak hit a great ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Edmondo Sarnelli heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 60th minute Evandro Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germán Burgos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Gerardo Edur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Valdo de Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. EDI MZB made a substitution. Leonardo Leão replaced Hortêncio Passos. The supporters of EDI MZB booed when U21 Totoras F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Edur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes EDI MZB got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Mandrak. Tiburcio Haimar struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Valdo de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Totoras F.C.. In the 75th match minute, EDI MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in EDI MZB's zone, Gerardo Edur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdo de Queirós came out of the goal and Gerardo Edur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerardo Edur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Augusto Dalmu managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Totoras F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Dalmu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdo de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sidnei Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Gerardo Edur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdo de Queirós. Valdo de Queirós yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. 94 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Edur came free, but Valdo de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxi Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
