The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Dionisia's goal looked a bit too open when Kidlat Cabanit came free, but Arnoldo Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Fabian Milio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Valdo de Queirós to make any attempt to save it. Arnoldo Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 12 minutes, Damaso Salvino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dionisia and the EDI MZB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damaso Salvino hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Dionisia's Arnoldo Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kidlat Cabanit in the 15th minute of play. Valdo de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Damaso Salvino sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Ruben Montay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Caco Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes EDI MZB got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Machado. Damaso Aresti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valdo de Queirós came out and tried to block the shot, but Damaso Aresti slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. EDI MZB made a substitution. Silvinho Macedo replaced Tiago Machado. With a little luck, EDI MZB's Valdo de Queirós got control of the ball when Fabian Milio tried to sneak it across the goal line. EDI MZB's Valdo de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save EDI MZB from getting a goal against them. In the 69th match minute, EDI MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kidlat Cabanit to maneuver through the defense. If Benigno Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdo de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Luar in the 70th minute of the match. Valdo de Queirós came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Dionisia's Benigno Luar. But to his dismay, Benigno Luar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Valdo de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Luar, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the EDI MZB defense, Damaso Aresti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdo de Queirós. The EDI MZB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdo de Queirós should have stopped the shot. Valdo de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Luar's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Damaso Aresti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EDI MZB's Valdo de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Dionisia were the better team. Dionisia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
